this game is AMAZING! Time flies when you play it, no ads AT ALL for me, it does take a while to actually unlock new plague types (like unlocking Virus took me a couple years because I never changed my strategy) but you can also buy them for pretty cheap if you want. And it's offline too! You have the option to buy stuff too like extra scenarios, special plague types, Outbreaks etc (you get 1 free outbreak daily and it resets at midnight tho). I 100% recommend this game to everyone!

With Ndemic games like these, your genuinely relying on luck. For example the speed of the cure isn't really effected by any abilities, heat resistance doesn't actually have to do much of a difference to Africa. It's just a game of not trial-and-error, but trying the same thing over and over again until you get lucky. A really creative feeling to the game, my favourite scenario is spreading fake news. I know you want variety in a game, but the repetition can be crazy.

Excellent! What more can be said? A great, simplified, strategy game. There's no building a base up bit by bit to level 10 before anything decent happens. This is strategy from the word go. It has a Main Mode and a Cure Mode. I would Definitely recommend buying the expansion pack for endless options and scenarios, which includes Vampire, Zombie and Planet of the Apes scenarios, plus you can create your own scenarios for other users to play. Also check out the authors other game Rebel Inc.
